Michael Douglas in Antibes

A-list celebrity Michael Douglas has posted a lovely pic on Facebook of himself with a photograph of his father, Kirk Douglas, in the background.

The American actor was at the luxury Hotel du Cap Eden Roc at the weekend where they have a photo displayed of his dad, when he was there in 1969. Kirk Douglas, who will be celebrating his 100th birthday this December is best known for his starring role in the movie Spartacus in 1960 and has been nominated numerous times for an Academy Award for Best Actor. His last film was in 2004, with the independent feature film Illusion.

Michael Douglas, now 71 years of age, has an impressive acting career that includes a diverse range of films from both independent and blockbuster genres. Best known for his role in Basic Instinct in 1992 and more recently Ant-Man in 2015. The star was recently spotted on the Balearic Island of Mallorca where he owns a home and enjoys spending time in the summer. He also announced plans for his involvement in the remake of the German film Head Full of Honey.
