New Low Budget Short Haul Flights Launched by Air France
Hop! flights to counteract the loss of longer haul flights
In May we reported that Air France were closing some of their hubs to make way for a new budget airline Hop!
Air France say that they want to introduce a more flexible network of flights, with greater frequency and better service to customers.
10 Hop! aircraft will be based in Marseilles offering 14 flights per day to Biarritz, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Rennes, Brest and the two airports in Paris.
Tickets could start from as little as 49 euros, which might encourage more people to switch from taking the trains (which are already facing substantial cuts).
